Museums and the Web Hong Kong 2013 Early Registration Closes August 31st!

Museums and the Web is the largest international conference devoted to art, science, and natural and cultural heritage online. Since 1997 it has hosted 17 events for museum professionals in the USA and features annually the best and most ground-breaking digital work in museums around the world. Its proceedings, freely available online, represent one of the largest archives on digital innovation in the cultural sector, and serve as an important resource for professionals, students and others working with museums:

In 2012 Museums and the Web hosted its first conference in Asia as a special session of NODEM at City University Hong Kong. The 2nd Annual Museums and the Web Asia conference will be held December 9-12, 2013 in Hong Kong, China at the Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel and Towers. MWA2013 will include presentations by leading technologists and museum innovators from Asia Pacific, North America, Europe, and the Middle East.

Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel & Towers is at the top of Kowloon’s Golden Mile – near the waterfront on the corner of Nathan Road and Salisbury Road – and is an easy walk to the subway and Star Ferry.
