Museums and the Web recognizes that many individuals who make significant contributions to digital practice would be unable to attend MW without some financial assistance. New and innovative accomplishments in technology for culture and heritage come from all kinds of organizations throughout the world. Competitive scholarships covering full conference registration and a full day of workshops will be awarded to selected applicants. In special cases, some support will also be offered for travel and lodging costs.
Museums rely on volunteers to accomplish their mission and so do we, but time is money as they say and for 20 hours of work during the 4 days of the conference we will waive conference registration. Over the course of the conference, we are relying on you to perform a variety of duties that are crucial to the success of the conference. These tasks are: staffing the registration desk, greeting and helping attendees, greeting at the receptions, preparing the delegates’ packs, collecting surveys, other duties as required.
