Mobile Guide RFP for National Museum of American Jewish History

The National Museum of American Jewish History is seeking a creative and technical partner (or partners) for the development of a mobile guide for the Museum’s core exhibition.

The National Museum of American Jewish History is a world-class cultural institution situated in the heart of Philadelphia’s historic district, on Independence Mall. The Museum has welcomed hundreds of thousands of visitors since opening a new, landmark building in November of 2010.

The mobile guide will be designed for NMAJH’s 25,000-square-foot core exhibition, whose constellation of original artifacts, historical images, hands-on and media interactives, films, and soundscapes tell nearly four centuries of stories about the choices and challenges Jewish immigrants faced as they endeavored to become Jewish Americans. These stories of courage, imagination, aspiration, hard work, and leadership encourage visitors to find connections with their own heritages, histories, and identities.
