Abstract: | Digital epigraphy is a central discipline of Digital humanities. As such, it is able to bring unexpected digital mediation of cultural heritage in the streets of cities-museum. Our aim is to show how the combination of different kind of technologies, like portable devices contents, social networks, crowd-sourcing, could be used to enhance the reality and create an interactive way to discover history. Such purpose is carried on by different examples in which epigraphy plays a central role that makes city talk to people. |
