What is the relevance of social media for marketing of arts and culture museums? Three museums in Copenhagen: The National Gallery of Denmark, The National Museum of Denmark, and The David Collection, distributed a quantitative survey to their subscribers on Facebook. As a result, it was possible to describe their Facebook audiences, create a typology of relationships between museums and their audiences on Facebook, and identify a connection between following a museum on Facebook and visiting it.
