The paper introduces some features which characterize FIBAC, a research project led by Poste Italiane aimed at making a system prototype able to create personalized visit paths in museums and art galleries and to deliver information about art objects specifically tailored to the user’s preferences and needs. The project will produce a Web Application and a Mobile App which assist the user during the different phases of his/her visit with a special focus on personalization and adaptivity thanks to a proper user profiling.
