ARTLENS Gallery Fellowship

The Cleveland Museum of Art seeks a temporary (1 year), full-time Fellow to join the Information Management and Technology Service Department beginning in summer/fall 2017.

The ARTLENS Gallery Fellowship is a unique opportunity to introduce recent graduates with a high-level of academic achievement to working in a museum, with a focus on cross-collaborative digital projects. This person should have a demonstrated interest in technology and art history, as well as a strong understanding of CMA’s ARTLENS Gallery (formerly Gallery One) and ArtLens App. Working directly with the Chief Information Officer, the Fellow will take on the Digital Project Manager role, in addition to assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks, including scheduling, contracts, organizing meetings, note taking, website editing, and drafting papers and presentations on ArtLens Gallery. The Fellow will manage the various projects relating to IMTS and ARTLENS Gallery that are taken on during the year, including coordinating project schedules, working collaboratively with museum staff across departments, and liaising with outside vendors.

Previous projects have included the Mughal App, ArtLens App 2.0, ArtLens Studio, and ArtLens Exhibition. Future projects may include new Exhibition Apps, 3D photography of the collection, and ongoing ArtLens Gallery maintenance and upgrades.
