The Tate Media department is responsible for conceiving, commissioning and producing high quality editorial content across a range of digital media, in order to connect broad audiences with art and to extend Tate’s reach and reputation.

This fantastic opportunity assists in the planning and delivery of digital editorial texts around Tate’s programmes for Tate’s digital channels, assisting the Commissioning Editor in creating, editing and commissioning content that connects a broad audience with art.

You will have excellent writing, editorial and proof-reading skills with demonstrable experience of writing for the web and planning schedules and keeping to deadlines. You should also have experience of digital image editing (preferably using Photoshop) and an understanding of image copyright specifically as relates to artists and artworks. Proven understanding of and interest in engaging content for online audiences is essential.
