Collections Care and Visual Resources Manager

Come work at America’s first museum of modern art! The Phillips Collection is seeking a professional who will manage the Phillips’ permanent collection.

The Collections Care and Visual Resources Manager will work with the registrar for collections, the conservators, and the preparators to oversee the administration and implementation of permanent collection care management. Oversees the storage of a diverse collection of paintings, works on paper, photographs, sculpture and time based media that will help to preserve over 6,000 works of art. Responds to requests for visual resources.

The Phillips Collection continues to actively acquire and receive works of art that demonstrate the museum as a forward-thinking institution that is committed to diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion (DEAI) by maximizing visibility through various physical and digital installations onsite at the museum, at our satellite campus, and in partnership with the University of Maryland.

Salary is $50,000 annually
