Digital Analyst
The American Museum of Natural History seeks a Digital Analyst for its Digital Media department. The Digital Analyst will report directly to the Director of Digital Technology and will provide key contributions in three areas: CMS (content management system) and general LAMP application support; testing of digital applications; and other project tasks as needed. The Digital Analyst should be highly organized, attentive to detail, and have a keen interest in current digital technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Provide CMS support. Train museum content stakeholders on use of the CMS, answer CMS-related questions, author support documentation, and present best practices for CMS usage.
Provide application-level and code-level support. This includes PHP and database changes for legacy applications, development of architecture standards, contributing to code version control management, identifying opportunities for optimization, and offering second-tier guidance on best practices.
Design and execute test cases, and provide QA support across digital properties. Develop test tracking documentation and tools as needed.
Provide support on research, analytics, identifying new content and digital channel opportunities, and other technology-related tasks as needed.
