Digital Assets Manager

At the Portland Art Museum, our mission is to engage the public with art and film of enduring quality, to facilitate dialogue with diverse audiences, and to collect, preserve, and educate for the enrichment of present and future generations. Reporting to the Head of Library and Collections Information, the Digital Assets Manager (DAM) oversees the day-to-day administration of an enterprise-level digital asset management system (DAMS). DAM manages the organization, description, and dissemination of assets across Museum departments. Working collaboratively with interdepartmental team members, the DAM develops and supports sustainable practices around the digital asset lifecycle to ensure the long-term availability and integrity of a wide variety of assets. DAM is an integral member of the Library and Collections Information team and provides support across department functions as needed.

This position is full-time (30 hours per week). Compensation is budgeted at $25.65 per hour. The position is eligible for the Museum’s benefits package first of the month following 30-days of full-time employment.
