Digital Preservation in Museums

The Master of Arts Program in Museum Studies at San Francisco State University is seeking an expert in Digital Preservation in Museums to join our faculty at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, effective August 2014. Experience and interest in art museums is preferred. The successful applicant will possess museum professional experience in all areas of digital preservation in museums and will be knowledgeable about digital media, digital curation, mobile experiences, digitization strategies, and digital asset management. The candidate will also be engaged in critical discourse surrounding digital preservation in museums, be able to bridge theory and practice, and have a strong interest in how museums communicate with the public.
