Seattle Art Museum seeks a Director of Information Technology to lead the development and implementation of state-of-the-art, cost-effective, and efficient information systems. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, position is responsible for all services typically comprising an IT organization plus Audiovisual services. Essential functions include:
• Providing Strategic Leadership toward integrated information systems, developing technology plan, processes and solutions, driving relationships with key partners.
• Managerial Performance: Developing business and budget plans, maintaining project controls, implementing continuous improvement
• Financial Management of budgets, operation and staffing.
• Customer Satisfaction: Maintaining effective communications with management and direct reports on status of initiatives and projects, performance against planned objectives, and future strategic directions and associated impact on expenses. Evaluating external advancements in the IT industry to improve customer/user satisfaction, reduce operating expenses and maximize revenues.
• Staff Development: Mentoring direct reports to develop skills and support professional growth.
