OVERVIEW
The Portland Art Museum is recruiting for a Manager of Information Technology to oversee all aspects of the Museum’s information technology. This role is accountable for ensuring continuity of computer services for users throughout the organization through planning, technical leadership and project co-ordination and includes the responsibility for solving all issues or problems concerning all hardware and software systems, and managing the Museum’s outsourced helpdesk, other vendors, and a wide variety of I.T. projects.

The mission of the Portland Art Museum is to engage the public with art and film of enduring quality, to facilitate dialogue with diverse audiences, and to collect, preserve, and educate for the enrichment of present and future generations. Founded in 1892, the Portland Art Museum is comprised of both the Museum and the Northwest Film Center, founded in 1971. The Museum’s encyclopedic collection of works are displayed in 112,000 square feet of galleries and the Film Center’s exhibition, education and artist service programs engage diverse audiences region-wide. The preeminent visual and media arts organization in Oregon, the Portland Art Museum presents an ambitious pubic program, presenting 18-20 exhibitions annually.
APPLICATION PROCESS
This position is exempt/salaried, full-time (35 hours per week), with a salary range of $70,000 – $80,000 depending on experience. The position is eligible for the Museum’s benefits package first of the month following 30-days of full-time employment.
