*** The Student Communications Assistant position is available to both UCLA Graduate and Undergraduate students with Work-Study funding only.***

The primary purpose of the Student Communications Assistant role is to support the work of the Film & Television Archive’s Marketing and Communications Officer by helping to promote the Archive’s public exhibition program at Billy Wilder Theater at the Hammer Museum, and special events that may occur elsewhere. This position also helps communicate and demonstrate the Archive’s value to UCLA students, faculty, staff, alumni, scholars, cinephiles, and public audiences from around the world.

 

The Student Communications Assistant will learn all aspects of promoting public programs and events, with an emphasis on media relations writing, media research, community partner outreach, and patron service assistance. This role also will compile audience feedback survey reports and media reports.

 

This position will be assigned other marketing and communications duties as needed.
