Job description
Do you have experience of making high quality video material from the conception of ideas through to shooting film and completing all post production? Are you a creative individual who understands the complexities of differing audience needs?

We are currently looking for a Video and Digital Media Producer to support our commitment to ignite curiosity and inspire the next generation. We are focussed on developing new, interactive, exhibitions that truly tell the authentic stories of our collections. The New Media team play a pivotal role in bringing this vision to life by harnessing the potential of digital in the museum’s galleries and exhibitions.

Within this role you will develop, produce, edit and deliver high quality, powerful and engaging films and also manage external production companies to produce material that captures our mission and values. You will edit archive and existing footage, whilst employing new techniques and new approaches to engage and excite our audiences.

It is essential you are able to edit and encode video using Adobe Premier or other professional video editing software, and in addition have experience producing high quality new video material. You will have managed the full production cycle including developing a brief, have the ability to hold and advocate for a vision and work well in a team environment.
