This position is located in the Communications and Marketing Office, Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden (HMSG) and reports to the Director of Communications and Marketing. The Communications and Marketing office is responsible for facilitating legacy and digital media coverage of the Museum’s exhibits, research, programs, events and activities, design, and the direction, management, and technical coordination of the museum web programs, presentations, facilities and related online information resources. The incumbent will serve as Webmaster responsible for the technical development, support, coordination, administration, management and maintenance of various Intranet, Internet, web-based, social media, multimedia, and mobile technologies, application and related support facilities. The incumbent provides technical web development, implementation, coordination, support and maintenance assistance regarding web page and application technologies and related online facilities and web systems.
