As the Interpretive Media Content Lead in the Education Department at the J. Paul Getty Museum, Anne Martens specializes in writing and producing media for various platforms and distribution channels. Her job covers developing content plans and storyboards for audio, video and interactives, and writing, editing and producing for Web and in-gallery experiences. She is also involved in the Los Angeles contemporary art community as an arts writer and practicing artist. Before the Getty, Anne developed Web content in Los Angeles and Portland, OR. Other careers ranged from college teaching in Rochester, NY to covering labor politics as a photojournalist in Washington, DC. Anne holds an MA in journalism from the University of Maryland and an MFA in photography from The Visual Studies Workshop in Rochester, NY.
