Bente Jensen

Archivist, M.A., in charge of outreach, communication, and learning at Aalborg City Archives, Denmark. External lecturer at Aalborg University where she is affiliated studies concerning research and teaching in Archival science and Cultural Heritage. Member and one of the founders of network developing archival outreach and communication in Scandinavia. She received the NCK’s (Nordic Center of Cultural Heritage Learning) pedagogical prize in 2010 for her work in the field. Focus now is on visual archives and she is a part of the Nordic Research project: Collecting Social Photography, which studies vernacular social digital photography as potential cultural heritage.
