Otherwise known online as @Mr_MediaX, I define myself as a New Media artist creatively executing work as an art director, information designer and part-time writer on arts and technology. Growing up in the KwaZulu-Natal region of rural South Africa, I live and connect to the world through exploring art in the digital space. Constantly investigating placement and displacement of my own life and Bantu society in a hyper mediated world, my work is heavily inspired by popular culture and the media trends that impact the evolution of African life as well as the overall human experience.
