Dr. Kate Meyers Emery is the Manager of Digital Engagement at the George Eastman Museum. She manages the website, social media, on-site and online engagement, and is working to create new ways the museum can bridge the gap between the analog and digital experience. She received her Ph.D. in Anthropology from Michigan State University, and is the co-Founder of GradHacker, an Inside Higher Ed blog. She has a strong background in digital humanities and digital archaeology, and loves using new digital tools to explore and engage with the public. In her free time, she teaches boot camps and workshops on digital identity and branding, plays video games, and explores the wine regions of New York.
