Elizabeth received her doctorate from University College London in material science where she focused on the conservation of stone materials. She currently teaches courses in material culture and new media within the Museum Studies Program at the Rochester Institute of Technology: Anime, 19th Century Photographic Processes, Medieval Panel Painting, Art Conservation and the Forensic Investigation of Art. She is also developing a course on New Media and Museum Education for the program. Her current research interests stem from her work with the Image Permanence Institute where she was involved in all aspects of museum-based software development and also created interactive Flash tutorials on environmental monitoring for museum professionals. Elizabeth�s primary interests are in the development of interactive educational media for museums and the study of material culture.rn
