Head of Visitor Experience and Insights

As Head of Visitor Experience and Insights, Eric acts as a strategic partner to ensure strong audience-focused outcomes at Mia. Eric leads the front-of-house Visitor Experience operations, as well as the design, execution, analysis and reporting of Visitor Experience research. The Insights team works together to help internal partners develop a comprehensive understanding of the consumer and visitor, to guide strategy and influence decision-making throughout the organization and rapidly implement audience-facing change.
Eric holds a B.A. in Music and a M.A. in Arts and Cultural Management. He is also a Certified Customer Experience Professional (CCXP) with the Customer Experience Professionals Association (CXPA) and a member of the Qualitative Research Consultants Association (QRCA). Outside of Mia, Eric is active with many local organizations in the Twin Cities. He serves on the Board of Franconia Sculpture Park and the Institute for Research in Marketing at the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management.
