Franzi Florack

Franzi is a lecturer, PhD candidate and social mobilizer with a PGCE and Masters in Education from the University of Cambridge. As a consultant and teacher, she has developed arts, language and eduational courses for schools and universities and especially enjoys working on horticultural projects with her students. She is currently in the process of starting an Urban Farm in Milton Keynes and also travels extensively to support a range of projects in the UK.rnrnFranzi's PhD investigates the effects of using film in primary literacy classroom and her work is due to be completed in late autumn. In the past, she has researched all kinds of education projects from the use of the Raspberry PI computer to make music in schools to the effect of national after-school initiatives. Her work has been published in academic journals and online and she has also spoken at a wide range of international conferences.rnrnFranzi's passion is holistic and alternative education. She recently founded the UK's first holistic education organisation and is planning a family-friendly conference at Leeds Beckett University.
