Gary leads the technology efforts for University Collections, including the design and implementation of a new online collections interface that will ensure that students, scholars, and the public will have access to collections materials across Indiana University’s collections. Gary also works with collections across the IU system in determining collections management software needs, and he leads efforts to find workable solutions that will better allow collections to document and organize their materials via a new unified collections management system. He also oversees continued upkeep of University Collections’ website, their newly developed Collections Profile System (CPS), and manages technological needs at the new Collections Teaching, Research and Exhibition Center (CTREC) at the historic McCalla School on the Bloomington campus.
