José Colon aka HateOne/156 is a graffiti artist and style writer from Fort Greene, Brooklyn. His early development and imagination was heavily influenced by participating in the New York graffiti community of the 1980s. He is part of the famous "156Allstars" graffiti crew that was founded by international artist Jonone. Colon served in the Armed Forces and subsequently pursued an art degree through the GI Bill. He has worked as a Security Officer at MoMA for 21 years and is influenced in his style writing and graffiti by developments in modern and contemporary art.
