Makoto Manabe is Chief Scientist/Curator for Fossil Reptiles and Birds at the National Museum of Nature & Science in Tokyo, Japan. Makoto has worked on many exhibition design for permanent and temporary exhibitions of dinosaurs at a number of Japanese museums. He is interested in the potential of mobile phones, iPad and tablets as both tour devices and a means of creating other types of connections between users and the museum.
