I provide leadership in communications and digital fundraising to flagship arts and cultural organizations, as well as nonprofit organizations whose missions inspire and challenge me. Prior to joining M+R in November 2015, I was the first Director of Digital Media Philanthropy for the Smithsonian, the world's largest museum and research complex. My work spanned 19 museums and galleries, 9 research and 4 cultural centers, and a Zoo, helping to build and improve their digital fundraising programs through new campaigns, websites, tools, technologies, and partnerships. rnrnI also led the most successful museum project on Kickstarter ever, reaching goal in 4.5 days and raising over $700,000 to reboot the suit of Neil Armstrong for the National Air and Space Museum. Today, I have raised $1.5M on Kickstarter through 4 successful projects.
