User experience research and design

I'm a user experience researcher and designer focused on enabling creativity and creative problem-solving. I leverage my experience working in Silicon Valley companies to help museums and non-profits embrace user-centered methods.

In my role as User Experience Design and Strategy lead for the Getty's web group, I was responsible for user experience, interaction, and visual design of the Getty's web presence. I co-founded and led a cross-departmental team that collaborated on user research and taught and supported design thinking and user-centered design methods throughout the organization.

In addition to my most recent experience at the Getty, I've had a career that spans corporations such as Apple and HP to museums and public institutions, including the Science Museum of Minnesota, Yale University Art Gallery, and Minnesota Public Radio.

A frequent presenter at museum technology conferences, I've led workshops on design thinking, prototyping, and design sprints.
