Alexandra is a Project Manager in arts and culture marketing at Flod, a Florence-based communications agency (www.flod.it). We focus on digital and social media, as well as content creation solutions, for museums and cultural institutions, applying the latest research and an international outlook to every project. Flod also produces The Florentine, the city's English language newspaper.

My background is in art history - I have a PhD in art history from the University of Chicago and a MA from Syracuse University in Florence. I specialized in Renaissance prints, with a particular interest in copying and the diffusion of meaning.

I have been living, working and blogging in Italy for over a decade, and have been working in social media since 2009.
