Cosimo Birtolo received his master’s degree in Electronic Engineering in March 2006 at Politecnico di Bari, Italy and his PhD degree in IT Engineering at University of Sannio in July 2012. Since 2007, he has been working at Poste Italiane in Chief Information Office as Team Leader and Senior Research Engineer. Moreover, he has been participating as Member in UPU Standards Board activities for the development of worldwide technical and communications standards. His topics of interest are related to the area of Information Technology, Human-Computer Interaction, and e-Business. He matured research interests on Data Mining, Information Retrieval, Soft Computing, Computational and Intelligent systems.
