Carolina Kaufman is an art museum professional currently serving as the Education Technology Manager for the Art Institute of Chicago. Fusing her interests and professional experiences in the visual arts, digital media and learning, Ms. Kaufman assists the Museum’s efforts to anticipate and respond to the Museum’s evolving digital needs and opportunities through the Museum’s department of Digital Engagement and Access and in collaboration with the Museum's Education department. Bringing more than fifteen years of professional work in digital media and learning, Ms. Kaufman has previously established multi-media digital arts programs for community-based organizations including the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and the Intel Computer Clubhouse Network impacting the lives of young people from all backgrounds, bi-lingual educators, and adult learners on the international level. rnrnMs Kaufman earned her master’s degree from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education in Technology Education and Innovation with additional graduate level work at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She has a bachelor's degree in art history and studio art with honors from Wheaton College, Norton MA. rn
