Clare Brown is the Chief of Design for the National Museum of American History, Smithsonian Institution. Clare is a human-centered designer with degrees in Cultural Anthropology, Museology, and over 20 years experience designing exhibitions for large-scale history museums. She is currently working on a doctoral degree in the topic of “Exhibition Design as Experience Design," investigating the relationship between process and product, and translating methods of digital experience design to physical experiences.
