Elycia Wallis


Dr Elycia Wallis has worked in the museum sector for over 20 years and currently Manages Online Collections at Museum Victoria, a role that involves working with a team of developers, designers and content producers to deliver websites, apps and in gallery multimedia. Originally trained as a scientist, Elycia holds a PhD in Zoology. She also holds a Masters in Knowledge Management, gained when managing library, records and archives information became part of her role. Elycia is also the Australian lead for the Biodiversity Heritage Library, run in collaboration with the Atlas of Living Australia. She has a passion for open access to information, and believes that everyone should be able to benefit from the vast collections and information held within the gallery, library, archives and museum sector.
