Head of Interpretive Media
San Francisco Museum of Modern Art
Head of Interpretive Media at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. My team and I co-produce multimedia such as artist video interviews, podcasts, location aware in-gallery audio, digital storytelling tools, and onsite interpretive spaces. I also experiment with games and museums through my initiative, PlaySFMOMA, and events such as ArtGameLab, Ahhhcade and the Mixed Reality Pop-Up. My current research interests include table-top RPGs, Thingness, and avant-garde culture as an engine of social and political change. I am also a sculptor, animator and puppet-maker, and have exhibited in the Bay Area and nationally. I studied Philosophy and Fine Arts at Amherst College and Sculpture at the San Francisco Art Institute.
