The National WWII Museum
Gemma Birnbaum, AVP of the WWII Media and Education Center, has been with The National WWII Museum since 2010. Prior to joining the Museum, Gemma worked at several museums doing outreach programming, as well as a startup that helped clients in the historical tourism industry manage their ticketing and client support. At the Museum, she manages all curriculum development both onsite and online, digital learning projects, distance learning, media production, and teacher professional development, working across departments to create and market the Museum’s onsite and digital assets for teachers and students. She earned her BA in History from New York University in 2006, and her MA in History from Tulane University in 2012.
