Geoff Hinchcliffe is an academic at the Australian National University where he is developing research and design programs within the School of Art. In his prior position at the University of Canberra he was a core member of the Digital Treasures data visualisation research program and Head of the Media Arts & Graphic Design department. Geoff's current research and production focuses on new forms and practices in digital design and visualisation. Creative interpretation and representation of data is at the centre of his work, whether in screen-based or physical form. Geoff has been fortunate to collaborate with institutions including Museum of Australian Democracy, State Library of Queensland, National Gallery of Australia, and the social media aggregation company Crowd Convergence.
