Previously lecturer at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, UK from 2008. Prior to that worked at the UK's Open University, Sussex University, the Vienna University of Technology, and the HitLabNZ in positions for research and teaching at PostDoc level. rnrnPhD on tangible interfaces and collaboration in 2004 from the University of Bremen, Germany. rnrnResearch specialization areas: tangible and embodied interaction, physical computing, HCI, CSCW / study of same-time/same place collaboration and collaboration systems, user experience, qualitative research methods, museum installations and visitor studies.
