Jonathan Williams serves as the President & CEO of Pacific Battleship Center, the non-profit organization that operates the Battleship IOWA Museum at the LA Waterfront. Jonathan is mission-driven and is a relentless, indefatigable advocate for Battleship IOWA and its role in Los Angeles and the Harbor Community economic and human development. His private sector experience is diverse and focused on entrepreneur and executive roles. Many of these include start-up, finance, marketing, and operations roles including founding and growing businesses in both the internet and service industry. Jonathan is President of LA Fleet Week Foundation, Vice President of Historic Naval Ships Association, Co-Chair of the LA Waterfront Tourism Committee and Board Member of San Pedro Chamber of Commerce, and a Board Member of San Pedro Business Improvement District. rnrnThrough his volunteer service to save the Battleship IOWA, Jonathan earned a President's Lifetime Achievement service award and a Lifetime Honorary Crew Member of the USS Iowa Veterans Association.rn rnJonathan and his wife, Shelley are parents of young boys, Haydon and Colton. Jonathan enjoys working on STEM driven projects at home and traveling to Hawaii with his grandfather, a WWII veteran of USS Missouri, to visit Pearl Harbor and its naval memorials.
