Margaret Collerd Sternbergh brings a background in art history , a sense of humor and a commitment to fostering personal connections to her role as manager of digital and in-gallery interpretation at The Phillips Collection. Prior to her current role, Margaret developed regional and national teacher programs and education resources at the Phillips, focusing on integrating the visual arts into k-12 curriculum. Before the Phillips Collection, Margaret worked at The Muscarelle Museum of Art and The Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens. Margaret completed an undergraduate degree in Art History and Economics at The College of William and Mary and later a Masters in Art History at The George Washington University.
