Bill is Chief Experience Officer at the Virtual Science Center, developing inquiry based educational VR/AR/MR experiences which playfully deconstruct the perceptual science and technology that make this new medium (collectively known as "XR") work. For over a decade, Bill directed New Media and developed inquiry-based learning exhibits at the Exploratorium. He and his teams have conceived and created over 100 engaging traveling and permanent science center exhibits for National Science Foundation-funded projects such as Science of Sharing, Mind, Listening, and Geometry Playground. Bill was co-principal investigator for the NSF “Indoor Positioning for Informal Learning” project, and has taught UX and exhibit design at NYU and General Assembly.
