Bill designs novel interactive experiences/spaces for major museums and Silicon Valley startups, and consults on technology and digital strategy for clients/stakeholders that include the Exploratorium, Oculus founders, UC Berkeley, Nestlé Purina, Adopt-a-Pet.com and Qualcomm. For over a decade, he directed New Media and developed interactive experiences at San Francisco’s Exploratorium. More recently as Chief Experience Officer at the Virtual Science Center, he curated content, conceived and directed development of exhibits for Reinventing Reality, a traveling exhibition that deconstructs how Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality work. He and his teams have conceived and created over 120 engaging traveling and permanent science center exhibits for National Science Foundation-funded projects such as Science of Sharing, Mind, Listening, and Geometry Playground. Bill was co-principal investigator for the NSF “Indoor Positioning for Informal Learning” project, and has taught UX and exhibit design at NYU and General Assembly.
