Mr MAKINDE Olakunle Williams aged 58 hails from Ekiti State,South West Nigeria and he is a staff/employee of the National Commission for Museums and Monuments, as Curator and Heritage Site Manager of Osun-Osogbo Sacred Grove and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Mr. Makinde is an Archaeologist and Site Manager with over 28 years experience in Site Conservation, Research, Archaeological Curatorial and Museum Management at the management level/cadre. He participated in the International Visitors Leadership Program FY2014 IVLP Program “Museum Management in the US” sponsored by the US Department of State,Office of International Visitors, Washington DC. Mr. Makinde holds a B. A. (Hons) degree in Archaeology & History from the University of Ibadan, PG Diploma (Field Archaeology and CRM) and M.A.Cultural Resources Management from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Mr Makinde is married to Olayinka Cecilia Makinde and they have 4 children. They are residents of Osogbo, Osun State Capital.Mr. Makinde Olakunle has previously traveled within African continent to Kenya, Botswana, Ethiopia, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Togo,Ghana and Cote D’voire.
