Dr Sally-Anne Barnes is a Principal Research Fellow at the Institute for Employment Research, University of Warwick. With an established track record in research, she has worked on and managed a range of projects in the area of technology, careers and learning. Sally-Anne specialises in researching: new forms of internet-enabled labour exchange; digitalisation of the labour market; the implementation of technology and subsequent transformation of employment services; plus the use of technology to support the professional development of careers professionals and the delivery of career guidance services. Sally-Anne has managed and been centrally involved in a number of projects on technological transformations of the labour market and employment services. She is currently investigating how individuals navigate the labour market and the narratives around these transitions and decisions.
