As the Director, Museum Experience and Digital Media at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Sarah Lumbard leads Museum storytelling across the Museum’s digital and physical spaces. This includes vision, strategy and operations for both digital and exhibitions.
Ms Lumbard came to the Museum after five years at NPR where she led strategy across the News, Programming and Digital divisions. Prior to that, Lumbard led NPR digital product and partnership development. She has also held lead product and business development roles at Webs.com and WashingtonPost.com.
Iterative thinking and the surprises that come from prototyping and user testing are two things that get her into work every morning.
She holds holds an MBA from Instituto de Empresa in Madrid and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pomona College in Claremont, CA.
