Sorin Hermon

Sorin Hermon is Assistant Professor in Digital Heritage at the Cyprus Institute in Cyprus. His research interests are computer applications to archaeology, in particular ontology engineering, 3D scientific visualization, semantic structures and archaeological digital documentation. He is a member of CAA, EAA, IIPP, VAST, IPP, VSMM, and a member of the scientific committee of VSMM, VAST and CAA conferences. Sorin Hermon published two books, he is co-editor of several books and peer-reviewed conference proceedings, and author of more than thirty scientific publications. He coordinates scientific activities in several EU funded projects in the Digital Cultural Heritage domain, such as EAGLE, V-MUST, ARIADNE, 3D-ICONS, EMAP and Archaeolandscapes. rn
