Deborah Seid Howes is the Digital Learning Director at The Museum of Modern Art, where she oversees online course initiatives, as well as participates in a wide variety of educational projects. Her two decades of designing and implementing computer-dependent educational environments began at The Art Institute of Chicago where she co-developed interactive art education games using videodiscs and HyperCard. Her 13-year tenure at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, NY as Museum Educator in charge of Educational Media resulted in a number of museum education landmarks including the Heilbrunn Timeline of Art History (www.metmuseum.org/toah) and Uris Education Center. From 2009 to 2011 Howes was the Assistant Director of the online M.A. program in Museum Studies at Johns Hopkins University.
