Dr Ursula Smith is the Sciences Collections Online Coordinator at Museum Victoria, Australia. In addition to working on the Museum’s online collection database portal she has also worked on content management for the multi-award winning National Field Guide apps to Australian fauna.

Ursula holds a PhD in Palaeontology from Cornell University an MS in Biological Systematics from Imperial College, London, and an MSci and BA in Geological Sciences from Cambridge University. Since completing her masters Ursula’s experience in museums includes working at the Natural History Museum (London), the Paleontological Research Institution and it’s Museum of the Earth, (Ithaca, NY) and Museum Victoria (Melbourne).
