Dr. Wenzhen Yang is Associate Professor and Virtual Reality Laboratory Chair at Zhejiang Sci-Tech University. Dr. Yang received his MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Zhejiang University in 2001, and his PhD in Computer Science from Zhejiang University in 2007. As a visiting scholar he worked at George Mason University in 2009. His research interests are in interactive digital media (particularly in 3D visualization, virtual reality, and olfactory and haptic interfaces), and Biomedical Engineering (anthropopathic dexterous hand, virtual surgery, and master-slave control medical devices). Dr. Yang has published more than 50 research articles and presented 20 papers at international conferences. He holds 30 national patents for China and 2 PCT international patents. He is a committee member of ACM SIGCHI of China and he was session chair of HCI for VRCAI 2010.
