Charles Zange is a second-year graduate student at The George Washington University (GWU) in the Museums Studies MA program, graduating May 2015 with a focus on collections management. His professional experience is primarily in collections care and digitization based off past internships in film and video at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, documentation at the National Park Service, and rapid-capture imaging at the National Anthropological Archives. He is a co-founder of the Museum Studies Computer Club ( at GWU that hosts technology learning sessions open to students and faculty. Before coming to Washington DC, Charles taught as a substitute teacher at a private school near Chicago and as an English teaching assistant in Toulon, France. Primary interests include digital best practices and the behavior of museums within online networks. He holds a BA in History and French from Gettysburg College.
